Digital Twins: Enabling Interoperability in Smart Manufacturing Networks

As Industry 4.0 networks continue to evolve at a rapid pace, they are becoming increasingly complex and distributed. These incorporate range of technologies that integrated into smart manufacturing systems, requiring adaptability, security, resilience. However, managing the complexity presents significant challenges, particularly in terms security integration diverse functioning efficient infrastructure. To address these emerging digital twin standards enabling connection various systems by linking individual twins, creating system systems. The objective is develop “universal translator” can interpret inputs from both real worlds, merging them seamless cyber-physical reality. It will be demonstrated how myriad connected through use twins create “system systems”. This improve interoperability, resilience, paper also outline potential benefits limitations addressing challenges networks.
